Downtown Bloomington Farmers' Market

In On the Square in Downtown Bloomington from 7:30AM to 12:00PM.

The farmers' market is a producer-only market--which means all products are sold only by the person growing, raising, or making them. That means you always know where your food (and art!) comes from--and it's truly farm-fresh (typically harvested the day before you buy it!) Products include vegetables and fruits; herbs; cheeses; honey; farm-fresh eggs; local flour and cornmeal; locally raised beef, chicken, pork, lamb, and goat; plus many more seasonal foods. We also have artisan breads, ice cream, pies, and other prepared foods--all locally made. The market features a wide variety of local arts and crafts, all juried by McLean County Art Center to ensure the highest quality. We also have local music every week, and we feature a variety of community booths each week. The market is also committed to providing fresh, healthy, affordable food to the entire community, so we accept SNAP/EBT (formerly food stamps) and Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program coupons. Currently, we also have a grant that enable us to double SNAP puchases up to $25 per week. Fresh Shares--a program with Harvest of Hope, a local food pantry network--provides food pantry customers with $5 coupons that can be redeemed for fresh local food at the market. Finally, the market partners with Feed the Need to collect leftover produce at the end of the market for distribution in low-income neighborhoods.
